Nigerian human rights activist, pro-democracy campaigner, former presidential candidate, and founder of online news agency Sahara Reporters Omoyele Sowore was arrested and is still in custody by Nigeria Department of Security Services for treason allegation after calling for a protest tagged RevolutionNow.
Following the court proceedings and case between DSS and Sowore, the Judge ordered the release of Sowore despite the arraignment passed to the court on September 20th.
