Premier League guants, Liverpool are interested in striking a deal with Gent to sign Super Eagles star, Moses Simon during the summer transfer window, according to new reports.
It was gathered that Football Scouts from Anfield kept tabs on 22-year-old Moses Simon, throughout the 2017-18 campaign as Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his attacking options after a fine season.
Liverpool finished 4th in the Premier League while making a huge impact in Europe, reaching the Champions League final before suffering defeat to Real Madrid.
Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane combined to score over 90 goals during the season but Klopp is determined to sign a top-class winger to provide competition and cover.
According to a report by Goal.com, Simon has emerged as a top target, with Liverpool considering launching a £10million offer to bring the Nigerian to Merseyside.
Simon, who has played over 100 games for Gent since signing from Slovak outfit Trencin in 2014, is set to enter the final year of his contract and could be open to a move.
The player operated primarily from the left this season but is versatile and can also play down the right. He was left out of Nigeria’s World Cup squad because of a hip injury.
