According to TechCrunch, Instagram at an event launched the IGTV app that allow users upload up to an hour-long video, as against the previous one-minute length video post. With the new app, users will be able to make their posts and share them alongside the usual posts and stories from within Instagram by clicking on a button on the home screen or on the standalone IGTV app.

Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom at the event, said: “It’s time for video to move forward, and evolve. IGTV is for watching long-from videos from your favorite creators.”
