A British model was held captive for a week after being lured to a bogus photoshoot in Milan.

The model, who is in her 20s and has not been named, was reported on Italian website Corriere della Sera to have been kidnapped on 11 July and released after a week.

Her kidnapper, who is described as a British-Polish man, allegedly tried to auction her on the internet for €300,000 (£270,000) but let her go when he discovered she had a child.

“Our rules exclude mothers,” he told her.

The model was reportedly injected with Ketamine, an anaesthetic drug, when she arrived at Milan Central Station.

Corriere della Sera said she was held in abandoned offices and woke up handcuffed to furniture.

Her captor demanded €50,000 to release her and threatened to kill her if she went to police.

Police said the kidnapper was caught and confessed to the crime.

They have since seized his computer and phone including photos of the model being offered on the “deep web”.

The model’s hair was found in the man’s boot.

Police are now looking for accomplices.
