Two goals in five minutes, Jamie Vardy’s hat-trick, four goals scored against Manchester City, and what a day for Leicester City.
The Premier League champions might be well on their way back to the form that saw them lift the league in May with a superb performance against Pep Guardiola’s City.
Jamie Vardy scored after three minutes to give Leicester a shock lead at the King Power Stadium before Andy King doubled Leicester’s lead just two minutes later with a curled effort from outside the box.
Vardy got his second goal of the game when he was brilliantly set up by winger Riyad Mahrez and got his hat-trick in the second half after running onto a John Stones back pass and cleverly rounded Bravo to squeeze in his effort in from a tight angle.
Aleksandar Kolarov pulled one back for City with a lovely free kick and Nolito notched in another goal from inside the box but it was too little too late as the Citizens suffered another huge blow to their title bid.
