You may have heard that the HBO hackers have released personal phone numbers and house addresses of “Game of Thrones” stars. The production giant had experienced a cyber attack back in July, leading to theft of about 1.5 terabytes of data. The hackers are demanding a multimillion-dollar ransom.
The Verge reports that the hackers have released 3.4GB worth of data, and have threatened to release more if a ransom isn’t paid.
In the latest leak are scripts of five episodes of the current season of Game of Thrones, and a month’s worth of emails of HBO’s vice president for film programming Leslie Cohen.
Also contained in the leak are personal phone numbers, home addresses, and email addresses of all season 7 actors including Peter Dinklage and Emilia Clarke.
HBO spokesperson has said that the leaks have not given them a reason to believe their entire email system has been breached.
It is also reported that HBO has called for FBI to get involved.
