Hello! I see it all around me and I can feel it, even though the weather seems to be saying otherwise, the holiday is here! Travelling, visiting friends, resting, and 2017 must have crossed your mind more often these days.
Somehow everyone looks forward to enjoying the holidays. While you are thinking about the great joy of having a good break that affords you to spend time with friends and family, please take note of these three things before the holiday frenzy kicks in.
1. Be sure of what you want to do during the holidays. If you want to go out during the holidays, know where you want to go to and who you want to go with. Maybe you want to travel, go on a roadtrip, visit some particular friends, etc. You might just say it over and over again that you want to go out but when the holidays starts, you’re clueless and end up not going anywhere. If possible, contact that friend you intend going out with and give them heads-up, they might even help you with better suggestions. When you are clueless, the holiday passes by so fast and then work resumes.
2. Have a budget for your spending. You really don’t want to be broke by the time it’s the first month of the New Year. Give yourself a limit on what you’ll be spending and plan accordingly. Make a list of things you want to buy, know how much you can afford to spend at outings. Just because it’s Christmas doesn’t make you a Santa Claus to your circle of friends. Be careful with your spending.
3. Start Shopping . Apart from the fact that there is recession in the country, I advise you start buying your groceries, outfits and other necessities for this festive season. Prices of products are bound to get out of proportion when it’s very close to the holidays. Make hay and start shopping.
Happy holidays in advance!!!
